Too many issues going on over there. I stand corrected.

No sweat, it is a common misunderstanding. Someday maybe we can all get together over a beer and sing the Internationale.;)

The sixth stanza always brings the house down.

The Internationale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The sixth stanza always brings the house down.

Isn't "Adeline Schmidt" the UPS theme song (It was brown, brown, "brown" all around)?

:)Good one. Brings back great memories around the squadron bar ...

Oh, really!?

However, Lane says that already, many of FedEx's 230,000 U.S. workers are covered by the NLRA and have chosen not to unionize.

The airline division, FedEx Express, has 143,000 workers who are covered by the RLA. "You don't need third party representation at FedEx," he says. "We have a people first culture that creates a much stronger trust between our colleagues and management."

It's newspeak, Knightflyer. You are required to say exactly the opposite of what you mean. For example, you can be assured that when a politician says, "I am not running for president" that they will soon announce their candidacy.
I love the FDA LOA and 4.a.2.b. :)

Seems odd that unionized pilots from Fed Ex would post negative on this forum when what is being debated is their fellow driver employees right to unionize. Guess brotherhood only extends to their fellow pilots.

it's called Air Line Pilots Association.

I take back everything I said. Fred is so awesome. His business instincts are unmatched. He is like a tiger.

He never used his daddy's money (almost $100 million in TODAYS DOLLARS) and borrowed the rest from his rich uncles. He did it all singlehandedly.

He is so amazing that women fall to his feet (and some men too it seems <g>) hoping to be ravaged by him.

He is all knowing - even more amazing than Michael Jackson.

We all shall fear him. <vbseg>

ps. Relax guys. I'm not insulting you or any FedEx pilots. In fact, I think that you all accomplished more than he ever would have without his daddy's money.

Plus, he is a whiner! Waa Waa.

so what's eating at you, the fact that you didn't get a callback from fred to interview or the fact he was a trust fund kid who turned a little start-up into one of the most recognizable companies in the world? Waa. Waa.

I was lucky enough to have choice between FredEx and UPS and I chose UPS because UPS has better pay, stability and quicker upgrade times. Plus I wouldn't have to sit sideways like a loser at UPS, unlike FedEx.

Not to mention, the whole FedEx operation is dependent on a flawed business model that looks like its about to come crashing down all around Fred very soon. UPS will probably buy what's left of it and staple the FedEx guys to our list.

FedEx probably only has a few good years left due to Fred's short-sightedness.

Nice Top Gun avatar dude! You are the man!

OK, I'll bite. What might that flaw in the business model be? Interesting that you see it but millions of dollars on wall street miss it each day. Please enlighten
