FDX - Secondaries

MEM 11 Capt. open time has yet to be purged to build the secondaries. Doesn't this usually occur by now?

They are probably behind again.

Kind of like payroll these days, failed bid # 84, etc...

Looks fairly well purged to me!

In fact, my next month trips already show up in Future Trips & Flights

At least two. But they'd have to be really, really small.

BOYCAPTAIN 07-28-2009 06:23 PM

one to screw it in and all the rest of them to tell you how good the old one was!

I was always partial to the "back in the Falcon days" stories. Man, talk about edge of your seat spellbinding!!

Just one to hold the bulb and the rest of the (FDX) world rotates around them!:D:D

ol'tigerguy 07-29-2009 09:45 AM

How many original Fedex guys does it take to screw in a lightbulb? 4, 1 to do the work while the other 3 sit around and talk about the career expectations of the new lightbulb:D

I know, but thats why I have kids. Bot 1 and Bot 2 are on seperate computers checking open time 5 times a minute. It's the cutest thing watching them type in the numeric passcode over and over and over. " Thats right sweety, Daddy likes west coast dhd's."

Dadof6 07-29-2009 09:54 AM

Now THAT is funny!:D Even funnier that it could be true!

It doesn't matter how many Tiger guys it took to screw in the lightbulb...The question should be:

What's it going to take for everyone to see the light?

Aside from the fascinating light bulb stories, any MEM MD11 F/O's notice that the VTO lines are going more senior? Is this just a summer thing? I was holding number 12 to 15 VTO's about six months ago, now I am at 20 to 23. More guys cracking the VTO code? Ideas? Wild conspiracy theories? rip

Talking to my Airbus F/Os, it could be because Reserves are being used too much. The guy I'm flying with this trip is up to 69 hours. Why work the extra days on reserve when you can know your schedule ahead of time.

Actually the other three pay for it with their personal credit cards. Each one can only afford a third of the lightbulb after paying G-Town Mortgages for three exwifes and splitting the $5.00 subs they buy at Jared's place on their 727 S/O layovers past 65......not to mention the army of employees that have to process the expense reports.
