Default FDX - NWA/Delta Miles Compilation

Now that NWA and Delta are merging miles, has anyone seen any guidance from the company?

I have Delta miles that were earned AWAY from FDX that will soon be merged with my NWA miles (most from FDX DHs).

We, at FDx, still cannot "keep" miles on Delta while on FDX business. Any ideas if this will be modified?

Any info?

Good question ...

FYI ... I have been able to book the NW (code-share) flight number and lower fares (and miles) on my DL deadheads

I got a letter from Sky miles this week. Actually sounds pretty good. Any miles over 75k this year roll over next year to help you keep platinum. If you are a diamond guy (125K) the rollover obviously starts at 125K. It repeated several times that you get miles for all booking classes and fares.

FDXLag - The letter prompted the post -- received the same and surprised how positive it sounded.

FYI, if you are Silver and do not earn enough for Gold, will rollover the extra between Silver and Gold for next year.

Do you think FDX is working a new deal on airfares with DAL? Right now the same flight on DAL vs NW is about 3x more.

I think so.

Rollover Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs): It's an airline first—any MQMs you've earned above your Medallion qualification level at the end of the year will rollover to your MQM balance for the following year. There's no limit.

When previously redeeming miles for "free" tickets, Delta has charged a large fee (~$70 if I remember right); NWA by contrast only dinged me a $5 processing fee. Not sure if that will also disappear when only "Delta Max" is in place.

$75.00?? Last week I got hit for only $10.00 on a domestic miles only ticket from NWA.

I bought a domestic ticket last month using FF miles and was charged $75.00. I am only silver elite and thus was charged a "redemption" fee. My guess is that if you are Gold or Platinum you don't get charged this fee.
