fdx deviating

Fedex is deadheading me in 29 hours prior to a hotel standby. I just need to be there 8 hours prior, right? Even though Fedex is building a one in seven by getting me there early I don't need to be there for 24 hours do I?

Also anyone run into coming up on the 60 hour window in which to deviate and not having an approved fare yet?

Section 8C of the contract is what you to read. As far a the fare goes, it will eventually show up on your pairing after they make the reservation or call Global Travel and ask about your pairing.

BTW where you going?

A deviating pilot shall check in . . . .
(a) no later than 8 hours prior to showtime of a revenue flight that operates entirely within North America (i.e., Alaska, Canada, Mexico, 48-States, Caribbean and Puerto Rico); or
(b) no later than 12 hours prior to showtime of a revenue flight that either takes off from, or lands in, a city outside North America
