Default FDX Employee Shipping Discount Question?

I have been using the shipping discount for years. I've always gone to a FedEx shipping location and manually filled out the airbill. Has anyone set up their employee account online so you can print out the shipping labels? If so, are you still getting the discounted rate?

I've set mine up with my account number and it shows the discount in the shipping fee. Don't know if there's a difference between that and filling out an airbill in person, but it sure is convenient.

Thanks! I just set mine up. Will see how it works.

Set mine up nearly 15 years ago. It has never failed and I always get the discount. Use My FedEx all the time and like highflyer said, you can see exactly what the discount is when you look at your billing history.

I've had mine set up for a while now! Discount applies and you can now pay invoices online - ie. new expiration date on my credit card caused a couple of shipments to generate invoices where I owed $$. In the past when this would happen, I would get an invoice in my locker in the AOC and may not see it for months.

Pretty easy to use to make airbills. Nice little trick I do is I'll print a completed airbill to my harddrive as a .pdf file, email the .pdf file to whoever needs to ship something to me - ie. recently for some engine parts for a project truck - when they are ready to ship, they call FedEx and set up a pick up!

Where do you input your employee number to get the discount?

When shipping using a company discount calling for a special pickup is a no no. Got a call a few years ago about that. I was ordering something from a place that used UPS and I gave them my account number and they called FedEx to pick it up (which FedEx did) and I got a call about it. I told them I had no idea how the shipment was handled and I never heard about it again.

I just had to get a new credit card. Does anyone know who or what I need to do to update the info with the Company for my discount shipping account? Thanks.
