Default FedEx Question on travel?

Any of you guys at Fed Ex want to elaborate on what kinds of travel benifits you and your family recieve at FedEx as well as other airlines? I know most of the regionals get their codeshares benifits but since you guys don't carry pax just wondering how that worked?

We get nothing for the family. No passes, no ID90, no anything. For the crewmember all we get is jumpseat privileges.

Thanks for the fast reply. I guess if your making a decent wage you can pay for the vacation travel. Thanks.

I have gotten passes on Southwest for my wife--it's been a couple of years, but I think we still get them. Of course you've got to have room on the flight to use them!

We get ID90's on AA for wife and kids up to age 21. Southwest still honors the $25 ticket, space available. You can order all except SWA via our green screen bulletin boards. Works like a champ. You can also list your family on flights in advance. AA has been particularly easy to use and they give us the best deal. FYI

where have you been? My wife and kids spent a week in San Diego just before school started, courtesy of AA ID90s. Of course, stanby travel is no picnic, but we do get benefits. BTW- I think SWA passes are up to $40 each way.

I will never do the standby pass travel thing again after a 19 hour travel day nightmare! Just easier, and still pretty cheap (with pre-planning) to buy tickets.

Evidently I've been living on some other planet. I've been here for 9 years and obviously can't find my @ss using both hands. It's good to know though. I stand corrected.

Default FF miles

We get to keep the frequent flyer miles on NWA when we deadhead. I average about 2 free tickets a year.

I believe there are more good deals out there than just the AA and SWA ones, but corp. travel certainly does not advertise them. I just called them the other day and spent fifteen minutes pulling teeth trying to get the guy I talked to to tell me who we have personal travel agreements with.

"What you got to do is submit a form C for a quote, then we take a Form B, and then the Form D..." blah, blah blah.

Bottom line, he still didn't come right out and tell me what the agreements were (maybe he didn't know either), but he did email me a copy of the agreements which "oh, I guess aren't available from the pilot web site".

PM me and I'll forward you a copy of the email.

SC

P.S. On the pilot web site, Forms/Personal Travel Forms/Form C
