Thumbs down FDX ANC DPs

One would think with all of the open time in ANC that we wouldn't have a manning problem in anc, but...

2 dps in one month.

I hope the "A" ignitor sees all of the work, so he can practice putting the gear up and down.

Default Selfish acts hurt us all

It is very disappointing to see someone jump on 2 Disputed Pairings - in the same month no less. I am sure they’re a bunch of folks that could really use that flying and have shown some basic courtesy to their fellow professionals and refrained. This ANC FO's name is on my list. I too hope his pilot monitoring skills are exercised and he is reminded on a consistent basis that blatant selfish acts are not acceptable.

Maybe a 3 in 3 problem would help focus the young man......isn't he a MEM transplant?

Not a MEM transplant. I sent an email, encourage others to do the same.

For the uninitiated, what's a disputed pairing?

He has been in ANC for a while. Had the DP problem with him when he first got there few years ago. All about him!!! So he is aware of what he is doing. Use the A ignitors...

A trip that the FDX MEC disputes. Usually because it is onerous in some form or another. There is contract language that allows us to dispute pairings but all that means is those trips can not be put into a regular line. If the trips are flown by volunteers it make resolving the dispute tougher and usually results in the dispute being settled in the company's favor.

YGTBSM not only picking up dp's but check out his calendar. The dp's alone are 125 CHs, training and a huge carryover trip. I give guys the benefit of the doubt but this will be a hard sell.

No need to give this a-hole the benefit of the doubt. As Skimmology stated, he is a multiple repeat offender who knows they are disputed and does not care how that affects the pilot group. Please treat him with all the respect he has shown us over the years!

Cool

I'm sure he's "a good dude who just made a mistake." Sorry couldn't resist.
