FedEx Reserve

In a five week bid month, how many days does the company take off your schedule because of the reduce BLGs? 1 or 2? And do we have any say in what days?

What's the BLG for your aircraft and seat? Might be ZERO days...It is definitely not 2 days...either 1 or none...and I am pretty sure it is NONE!

Only 1....and you don't have a say. There is a link for modified reserve lines that will show you which one they are going to drop. The day to be dropped is marked with an "x" to help in your bidding!

search previous threads on this same subject - I believe it depends on average BLG (not RLG) for the aircraft/seat/domicile you're in as to whether ONE R-day is removed (with pay) or not.

Reserve Schedule Adjustment
Although reserve utilization remains at historic lows, we recognize that
the BLG reductions impact reserves differently from line holders. As a
result, beginning with the June bid period, one day will be removed from
your reserve schedule if the average BLG in your crew position that month
was below 62 CH (79 in a five-week bid period). Owing to automation
constraints, the process for accomplishing this will be manual. Reserve
lines will be published with the normal maximum number of R-days (i.e.,
15/19). If applicable, after the bid award and prior to any conflict
processing, the Company will remove an R-day with pay, from your reserve
line. We are trying to find a means of identifying which R-day(s) will be
removed so you’ll know how to bid. Details will be published as they
become available.
