Yes, that's basically it. Crab and kick but no float otherwise you get some drift with it. It's all about the timing.The -400 is actually easy to land compared to other aircraft. My hat is off to the engineers that designed it. The DC8 was probably the most difficult but only because everyone scared the sh!t out of you about the potential for a pod strike.

How is the CFI business? Have you shown an uptick in students? Where do you instruct?

On the classic you get the calls every 10'starting at 50', so at 10' you can start kicking!

Pretty good. Instruct out of Daytona, have about 7 students at the moment, gives me about 80 flying hours a month.
With the current economy there's almost zero american students though, only foreign nationals
