Heard that the arbitrator called a meeting with the MEC Tuesday (Dec 1st).
Anyone have any intel?

Email says letter coming out next week from the arbitrator to the parties involved that probably lists the timeline going forward.

Guess the arbitrator said lets meet again. Maybe at the end of January or February.:(

Where did you see this? I just got the council 7 update email that said we should have heard something from SS, but I haven't heard anything. Thanks!

4.A.2.b. Arbitration Update Dec 01, 2009: The arbitrator met with the system board Tuesday and stated that he will be sending a letter to the parties late next week regarding the disposition of the case. This letter will likely only include the timeline and schedule of meeting and briefs going forward. There is little else to report at this time. We will send an update following our receipt of the arbitrator’s letter.

So is it unlikely that the current info regarding the need to draft will be part of our argument? Since if there was a furlough there would be no draft or volunteer. Therefore the company can not furlough and maintain the current flight schedule and 4a2b should be retracted.
