Excuse me for having a life.

Anyway, if UPS is furloughing and everyone else is recalling or hiring, I probably don't want to be there anyway.

Call me crazy for not wanting to work for a company that is furloughing when other freight companies are recalling and/or hiring. I guess the rumors about UPS treating employees like crap is true.

Love was just a figure of speech in my first post. What I really want is to stay up here in Alaska, not necessarily work for UPS. Never in a million years would I move to China to work for any company. I can imagine that. MOve to China and then they furlough you in China. Yeah, right.

Wow. Rough crowd here anyways.

Lots of good info on this site for folks looking to get on with a big company. As you noticed some are hiring and some not. Those hiring now may be great for a couple of years but you will likely want to be at UPS or FDX when they start hiring again.

don't burn a bridge unless necessary.

Why do you say that? Is posting on this website going to burn bridges for me in your eyes?

Get over yourself already. What a laugh.

The luckiest in any industry are always the biggest wise asses. One day they will probably be replaced by Chinese freight haulers.
Rough crowd!! yes. But don't worry, none of these drivers are willing to admit that they probably wanted to go to AMR 10-15 ago.
