FDX 727fo volunteer

Saw a 727FO on volunteer standby last night. It was his 8th one of the month after doing 2 long siba trips. I spent 45 minutes trying to explain how he is stabbing us all in back. He had an answer for everything. He said that every other seats are getting theirs why should'nt he. He is a 15 year FO that claimed he did'nt really need the money. I give up. This is a hopeless cause and I am tired of being ****ed off all the time. I will see yall next year.

If you're not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem! Enough said ...:eek::eek:

15 year 727 FO? Could be in the top 5-10% in any wide body or a fairly senior CA on the 727, or junior CA in a wide body. The guys an idiot.
Hard to with "those" types........ mental problems

Was probably the same guy I had Arpt Stby with earlier in the month...of course he was on VLT...said the exact same BS.

That guy is a moron and he has been here long enough to know the drill. I know we have guys like him, but I hope he is the exception and not the rule.

The only thing the company understands is increased cost and freight left on the ramp. That is what it took to finally come to an agreement on our current contract.

The only person we can control is ourselves. So I say resist the urge to fly make-up/drf/vlt and encourage others to do the same. That is what I do every trip I fly. I bet we'd be out of this in a month if we all just flew our line. After that we could fly as much or as little as we want.

Christmas is almost here people. There are a lot of trips in open time in MEM 11F, 27F, & 30F seats. I say enjoy your time with your family if you are fortunate enough to not already be working. Let the company worry about filling the trips. After all, "O" says we are still 500+ overmanned, so we should have more than enough to fill the trips. Right?

Can we see his schedule?
