Unless the flying becomes IPA then this means nothing. Reduce to 80 now and hire 1000 managers later instead of hiring into the IPA when the economy turns is a waste of time. Keep your eye on the ball.

Uh huh...as I said earlier:

In the meantime they can get IMMEDIATE savings from firing manglers now, and scare the remaining into good dogs that would actively fight any attempts to bring them onto our list. Then hire select ones back (at cheaper deals) after the current economy improves...or better yet, make them work the sort to learn how real UPSr's really work.
