My condolances to the families of the crew. I flew beech 1900's in AK for 4 awesome years. AK flying has a very thin margin of error all too often. THe Beech is such a reliable airplane and has had a very impressive record in sservice. It's hard to imagine a PT6 having a catastrophic failure (that seems to be the initial assumption). I raise a toast to this crew, all the ACE pilots and families, and all other pilots flying in the state of AK.

One of the pilots (EL) is the daughter of one of our 11 Captains in MEM (LL). I just flew with him and she had just started at ACE his fall. RIP

My Sincere condolances to the families, friends and coworkers of the crew. I have had a few friends that have worked there in the past and my heart goes out to all affected by the loss of our fellow pilots.

Emily attended the council 79 picnic this summer as she prepared for training. A truly amazing and intelligent young lady. My and my family's prayers for her loved ones.

I've actually had a catastrophic failure in a PT6. Rare, but it happens. God rest those 2.

Boy, I'm sorry to hear that. I heard earlier today that the pilots were two guys who had been there a while, and were guys. I probably got misinformation. Either way its a horrible outcome. ACE pilots are usually the most upbeat pilots around (even when they shouldn't be). No matter who was flying keep the prayers going for friends and family.
