Default Good news from FDX Crew Pay-11FA to 27SO

Thought this was funny...

"This is your official notification that Payroll has keyed your activation to your
new seat. Your new rate will be applied to all flights that occur after the activation
date when the actual flight activity passes to payroll. Therefore, you can view your
recap in VIPS and note that on your 15th pay recap following the month of activation
all pay log activity that occurred after activation is paid out at the higher rate."

After completing IOE I think it should pay a higher rate however.

God bless you guys. I hated that job. Hopefully this is a bump in the road and you will get a window seat again soon!

Wondering if I'll get the "badge of honor" that I hear many people talk about on the crew bus... "I was a boeing engineer for five years!!!.. so you young/junior guys don't have anything to complain about"

I have seen some of the old guys wearing the 727 s/o five year badge. I also see them wearing the "I get five extra years as a wide body capt. badge" too! How's that working out for them?
