India's Jet in cargo venture talks with FedEx-paper

MUMBAI, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Jet Airways Ltd (JET.BO), India's largest private carrier, is in initial talks with FedEx Corp (FDX.N) to launch a dedicated cargo airline, the Mint newspaper reported on Tuesday, citing sources.
The new airline would be set up either as a joint venture or in alliance with FedEx, the newspaper said, quoting an unidentified independent consultant and two unnamed executives of Jet Airways.
A spokeswoman for Jet told Reuters she was unaware of the development.

Do you really want to fly the indian routes?
I personally have no problem bringing the cargo to a country an letting their pilots fly it from there. That the very right our union is fighting for by fighting cabotage in our country.

At the regionals on the J-31 we always carried a bottle of that in our brain bags since those a/c didn't have a lav. It gave ya an extra 30-45 minutes.
