Not sure on that one. There was a rumor that Polar was going to grow, but nothing has materialized, yet.

Has Atlas called anybody yet? Got my resume in recently and hoping for a call. Is there any word on class dates or if new hires will be -200, -400, or is the LCF going to be a different schedule? What about the Sonair crews, different line?

We have no firm info, but it appears that the new hires will go to the -400. The classic needs will probably be filled with recalls and upgrading FE's.

SonAir flying is just bidding IAH as your base. No info available on the LCF's. This bid is adding 8 captains to the classic, and ten to the -400. Doesn't sound like that will fill the needs of the LCF. Atlas NEVER plans six months ahead.

Word from MIA, new hire classes will be starting mid April.

Disclaimer, all the info above is subject to and will probable change. This is Atlas, after all.

Anyone know if an RJ driver with no connections to Atlas stands a chance?

Know if you'd have to give up your seniority number(s).

At the time I was hired five years ago, no you didn't. Now that things have changed around the airline business who knows.

I can't seem to find out how many days off a month one might expect. I realize that you might fly 18 day trips but followed up by how much time at home?

Also, is HSV really a base? I live in BHM and that would be excellent. I might have to move Atlas up my target list for sure and start begging for some help.

Thanks folks.

31 day month=14 Days off
30 day month=13 Days off

Yes, HSV is a base and most junior at this point. MIA and HSV have short trips, good for those that live there.
A new bid is being run and should be published next week.
Good Luck.
