There are lots of South America flights out of MIA. The company buys tickets to the plane at the begining and end of your pattern. If it is to your base they count the ticket cost and any hotel stays as imputed income. You may be traveling to start your line on day 0 and if you get to your base late on the 17th day you may not be able to get home till day 18. And if the end of your pattern is within 48 hours of the begining of your next pattern they'll just keep you in place. It's not a 4 on 3 off life.

You take any group of 600 people, I'm sure you'll find all sorts of hobbies and interests.

Polar CP is based in MIA. Only travels to JFK when needed. Atlas CP is up in ANC.

Any word on the process? My friends who claim to know say they have eliminated the sim and now have a tech interview. What kind of tech interview? Is it -400 specific, generic mental mental math, international ops.....? Hopefully those poolies that are in the first round will post the secrets so we can all prepare.

Thanks for the info... Had 3 internal recs and got no call... guess my resume found it's way to the bottom of the trash can again.

Are they interviewing enough people to fill a bunch of classes or are they taking it one at a time?

Default Atlas Hiring

I just emailed my resume to Atlas today. My total flight hours are 3000 with 2000 of them in the military. Does Atlas use a military conversion?

I have a B707 type, 1400 hours turbine PIC and qualified in the E-6B(B-707), F-14 and T-45. Will they consider me?
