UPS - 747-400 question

Flight Control doesn't have a QRH Non-Precision approach briefing guide. We utilize the OPSPECS and it states that we are authorized to do it. I believe that it's been assumed up until now that we can dispatch a B747-400 predicated on the RNAV (GPS) approach outside of the U.S.
Left hand wasn't talking to the right hand on this one.

In the year and a half I've been flying the 747-400, I have never shot a single RNAV (GPS) approach in the aircraft...never. The only place I've ever done it is in the simulator at the training center in ANC. Oh yeah, and it's always the RNAV (GPS) 7R approach at ANC.
ILS approaches or visual approaches backed up with an ILS is pretty much our world.
Can you quote a specific section/page reference in the OpsSpecs Manual?

Perhaps he was asking in regards to "available" Nav-Aid approaches for dispatch.
Would it ever come down to doing one - probably not, but at least at my previous employer if you had two approaches available at your time of arrival you would have different alternate minimums/requirements.
Just a thought.
