Like I said, no need to keep explaining how wonderful it is in domicile for "you", we get it, its just not the same for most of the rest of us!

Final question, if your wife was not so keen on the Memphis area, would you still live here! Answer this and you answer your own question of me!

BTW - here is the "electric car" my 6 yr old drives, which obviously has nothing to do with you or Barry O (not sure how this got into the discussion):[/IMG]
LORD have mercy! While I knew you wouldn't answer the question I asked I never expected the "O" diatribe.

You girls keep putting words in my mouth. I NEVER said the Memphis area was wonderful!! Ever!!!
I'll answer yours.

#1 I'm 50 from the bottom and you are junior to me. Dude even when you get a VTO it is, and will continue to be reserve. It will be your life for the next few years and you know it. Yea Yea you had vacation this month. You'll be here for 15 RA days next month, and every month after that for a long time, just like you were last month.

#2 I'm very lucky with my wife she wants us to be together and she'd be happy anywhere and you know her and know that to be true. She doesn't need a place to be happy. If my job wasn't in Memphis, no I wouldn't live there and don't now.... I would live wherever my job was. Now if I was rich and didn't need a job and could live anywhere... who knows, but I'm not .. yet

#3 I do trade my schedule around. I can so I do. You can't so you don't. AM out and backs do not let me sleep at home when my wife and kids are there. I hate them and should have bid reserve that month.

#4 Strange that you and BlubberBoyCaptain are so focused on me and how much I fly. I enjoy my job and I may have flown a few more hours than you.. and I loved it, but I'll be a months pay I was home more.
I guess when you pass you can put "I flew less than R1200RT" on your tombstone. I'm sure it will be a comfort to your daughter.

My question was and is. Would you spend more less time with your family if you lived near Memphis? Easy Yes or No.
Don't beat me up or compare you to me. It's all about you and your family. At your seniority, holding what you can would you have more time with your family? It doesn't matter what I do. YOU
You could live out in Shelby county and have a similar set up to what you have now and you know it and have looked.
I'm betting you still won't answer my simple question.

I didn't mention BoyBlunder but you guys are a pair. Same simple Question to you BC.
You guys are so focussed on me... I'm taken you can't have me.
Yeehaa

Now it makes sense...You live in MEM because you hate your family. Funny how the subconcious works. You win.

My answer was in the previous post if you read carefully, but to help you out and make it easier for you to understand - YES

But, is it worth 2-3 (or whatever number you choose - since you can't sleep at home) extra days at home for me while my wife and daughter have to live in an area that we really have no desire to live? We can live in Memphis and be unhappy, but at least we'll have 2-3 extra days of unhappiness together, right?! Not worth it for us!

For you, it'$ worth living near Memphi$ in M$.

OK boys I'm glad everyone is happy. You two both have very young kids. When they turn 18 and move out ask yourself what you'd give to have a few more days with them at 6yrs old or 3. Or any age when you were the most important thing in their life. Actually made me cry to type that. I really do hope it's worth it. I'm not sure this job is worth it at all.
Enjoy the farm and the sea-doos.
