HKG Hotels to Airport
#2
Assuming bank $ available; you can either just go down and jump in a cab ($30.00....expense it) or call the limo company and set something up thru them or the ramp. I found the taxi, quick, easy, didn't require any extra effort. Cheers,

Just ops tested today...first visit to Fragrant Harbor since 1976.
First...google MRT and print out a map of the route. It will then make sense vice a bunch of Cantonese names you can't pronounce.
Two options. Didn't want to fool with learning local routes at 11 pm after 24 hours of commuting, so I did the Airport Shuttle Service ride in. Their booth is in plane sight just past baggage claim and customs, and price was $400 HKD (about 52 bucks). Door to door service in a very nice Mercedes, and when I mentioned I wanted the tour since I hadn't been here in years I got nice point outs on the 25 minute ride. Very nice folks...
For the MRT...you will take the AIRPORT LINE to Kowloon station. Then switch trains to the Tuen Mun (purple) line. Go twoards East Tsin Sha Tsui station and get off there. Exit F is by the Peninsula Hotel...exit the station there and cross Nathan Road and you are at the Sheraton. The HK Museum of Art, Cultural Center, and Space Center are all there at the intersection of Nathan Road and Salisbury Road, and are across the street from the Sheraton. If you can find ANY sign to ANY of those places...you are within a rock's throw.
My take is spend the 40 bucks for the taxi...the first time. Once you get your bearings you can skate around on mass transit...its as easy as Paris, Frankfurt, or any of the other cities we roam around in.
Good luck and safe travels...
