Fdx Ord?
What are the procedures to get from the FedEx facility in ORD to the main terminals and visa versa? Any FDX buses like EWR or MEM? Are there any training facilies near FDX or parking garages to use their transportation back and forth? Any help is appreciated?

No. There is nothing like that. ~$15 dollar cab ride is about your only option (try Rosemont taxi (847) 384-0110). Tell them you're at Fedex, 611 Ohare Cargo Road off of Irving Park Road.
If the crew you came in with is laying over at the short layover airport Westin, you may be able to catch a ride w/ them. They go right by the Rosemont blue line station. You can get off there and hop the blue line into the ORD terminal.

You can also try ORD taxi. (that might not be their actual name but that's what I have programmed in my phone) 847-233-0000
Their cars are crap but they have been reliable in picking me up over the past 5 years when I need to get to the terminal at all hours of the night. Not many taxi companies will come out to FedEx to pick you up. Has to do with stupid Chicago laws and such.

I use Rosemount cab from FDX-ORD. They are very reliable and know where the FDX ramp is. From ORD-FDX make sure to tell the driver it is a "short trip-no stamp". That way they can get back in the front of the line they have been waiting in for two hours. I usually throw them a $5 tip. They are very appreciative.

Thanks guys. This is helping to get me better adjusted with how to get to and from FDX in ORD. I have the taxi names and numbers copied and already stored in my phone.

Another possibility is to use Bob Deters. He was the old driver for Metro before they lost the ground transpo. contract at ORD. He has a credit card machine, so you can use the company CC. The Chicago guys use him alot. His # is 773-447-7995. He will take you to the terminal or to the other hotels.

I have it all stored in the ole phone and hope to use it when I can. FedEx has always been real good to me over the years and hope I don't have to crowd your space to much from MEM-ORD and back but appreciate the ride each and everytime. Looks like I will have to find a place in the ORD airport to get provisions for the FDX crew for the ride home.
