UPS Terminates FQS's

Heard they are going to be told this week! Mostly SDF and ONT. The number 24 was mentioned.

While I may be getting furloughed, our employer is engaged in illegal anti-union activity. Its your job that is in jeopardy.

May be funny to you, enjoy the laugh while you can. Not gonna last long.

Hoping for terminations will not make you feel any better about the current situation. Take your Union blinders off and look around...the real world awaits you.

Flight qualified Supervisor. A non union management pilot. They do not currently have a number on the seniority list so the company can fire them from their management position and its straight to the street. They are currently being given the opportunity to send in cards to join the union and be given date of hire on the list. This is very likely a bad rumor.

Oh, this is F'ing beautiful -- and smart (on UPS's part). They'll at least have something to tell the judge when BT files the injunction for union busting at the first instance of MEF during furlough. Gumbie is obvioulsy worried and should be -- with the potential of multi-million $ lawsuit over unlawful entry of IPAer's hotel room (from both the pilot and Marriott Int'l Inc. for their liability caused by him), he's the first to go. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

While I have not heard this one, it would make sense. A scare tactic for those sending in cards. Be interesting to see what happens.
