That's because you're looking at the crap that the bottom of the seniority list (like me) will end up getting. The edw lines are clean...squeaky clean...just hope I can one day fly one of them.
I think (unlike so many naysayers) that rsv will go senior again...one less day..one less hour and senior sdf guys at the trough again. So for you and me ( I think you're not that senior either), at least you will get a chance at a crap line.

Im a NO as well. Im very worried that this thing may pass. What are the people voting yes so pleased with in this TA??? Anyone??? If your a yes voter, please pass on what you see that is so good that it outweighs the bad and why I and so many other have seen nothing but negitives in this TA...
Also, EVERONE, if you havent been to Franco's site, I suggest before you go and vote yes, you need to go to this site and see how your lives will "really" be under this TA... Here's the link:

Well Big Brown, so far I am a yes. It's not that I am so pleased with this TA. My concern are the implications if it is voted down.
First of all, there are some miss understood sections of the TA: ie FAt board, progressive discipline, etc. And there are good things: ie A plan retirement security, most of the scope article etc.
Second, the political sitiation in washington is not on our side.
Third, the industry we are in (aviation) irreguardless of the success of our company, is not in our favor.
Fourth, we are a fractured union group at this time with "disfuntional" leadership.
I don't believe what the doomsdayers are saying reguarding a PEB, arbitrator, etc. I believe that if we vote this down, we will go back to the table in Feb and come out with a TA not that much different than the one we have right now. Maybe some small financial gains. We will probobly have another TA to vote on in a year, but I doubt we will regain the $50k in earings we gave up for that year. In the mean time, we risk loosing some of gains we did abtain. If Fed Ex passes their contract, we will have to compare to that contract. I don't think their scope and retirement protection will help ours. Also, we need to concider the Middle East situation. This could send everything into a tail spin just like our mid-term contract was pulled after 911. Fuel prices are going up, another factor in the companies favor.
I have been back and forth on the TA and I'm wiling to listen to any good opinion. But so far I am a yes.
Ps. Be careful when you look at Franco's info. I have found some of his info lacks full detail.

MadDog, that's the way I see it. It's fun to yell out a gutsy No to this contract since it's below most of our expectations, but the factors you mentioned lean me to a Yes. In fact, I'm thinking about wearing a Yes sticker through the sort tonight
Many pilots on the B & G have an entitlement mentality, that the company owes them this or that. Quite frankly, the company doesn't owe any of us squat other than what we can negotiate....and in case nobody noticed, we have the weakest president/negotiating committee combo we've ever had at the IPA. Even electing Bob Miller or someone else with integrity won't solve this T/A's shortcomings.
My advice to us all is to accept this average T/A, find our niche, and move on. To Anchorage, for many
