UPS Pool/Classes
 

Has anyone been put into a UPS class in the last month, or scheduled to start class in the near future? I'm trying to figure out if UPS is "holding" the poolies until after the contract is voted on or if they are still starting new classes.

Are there any updates to last months threads on newhire class dates?

Any info is much appreciated.

a class started monday 07-31 of about 15 line and 6 mgt.

I know someone from the previous class (7-17-06?) who had been swimming since January of this year.

I know one in the 7/31 class that was pooled january a year ago.

I think there is a class set for September 12. Who knows.

Do you update your times at all? I updated everytime I finished a trip and then when I got a new type rating. I was in the pool for 2 months.

I have no idea if that helped but It couldn't hurt.:confused:

To answer your question, I heard (from someone in the training center) that UPS was going to start hiring again after January 2015, and would hire 70-100 per year for the next 6 years or so.

I find it hard to believe that they plan beyond this weekend, but who knows.
