Carryover Trip Swap Question (FDX)
 

Does anyone know the actual rules for trying to swap with open time a carry over trip? I know it had to be equal to ore more days than the one you're trying to drop but what about the footprint? Any idea where this is written in the contract? thx

Not sure about that one, but here's something else to be aware of. The last time I swapped a carryover trip for a carryover trip in open time, I found that it did not affect my swap bank for the month in which the trip started. It affected only the month in which the trip ended. If you're trying to boost your present month's paycheck, you won't see that happen. If you have no problems with delayed gratification, you're all set.

just did a swap like what you asking about. Carryover was the same but the trip footprint in the current month was a day smaller. No problem. Went thru. More surprised it did with the reserve manning up north the way it is.
