FDX-Vacation Help
I have 3 days of carry over into September and vacation through the first 8 days. I have 3 questions:
1. If I bid a trip that has an actual conflict with the carryover trip, will I lose that and be eligible for CIC makeup or will the hours come out of my vacation bank?
2. I lost the carryover (international) trip with vacation. If I bid a domestic trip within the 48 buffer, will I lose it by conflict or vacation?
3. I already slid my vacation 4 days into September...can I slide it a few days back towards August. It won't uncover the August trip.

There are several questions at hand;
1. If I bid a trip that has an actual conflict with the carryover trip, will I lose that and be eligible for CIC makeup or will the hours come out of my vacation bank?
The carryover trip has priority and the trip in Sep in conflict will be dropped due to CIC and you can choose to makeup in the view add window or let it go into the makeup bank.
2. I lost the carryover (international) trip with vacation. If I bid a domestic trip within the 48 buffer, will I lose it by conflict or vacation?
Did you lose the carryover trip due to CIC or vacation?
The 48 buffer is due to international trip or vacation buffer?
If you bid a domestic trip, then no worries about the 48 buffer.
3. I already slid my vacation 4 days into September...can I slide it a few days back towards August. It won't uncover the August trip.
GO to the bid period processing and try to slide it back towards August, if it lets you do it...then you are in.

1. Concur with the aforementioned
2. Depends
If the award in Sep bid month touches the original footprint of the Aug trip dropped due to vacation, then it will be treated as CIC.
If the award in Sep bid month avoids the footprint of the trip dropped from Aug bid month (3 days into Sep per your example) but touches a vacation day (8 days into Sep per your example), it is vacation.
