The answer you are looking for is no. Some non-pilots can jumpsest if UPS wants them to, but it has nothing to do with having a license or not. In fact, many of our capts are growing tired of taking non-licensed folks and are bumping them.

Really? I might be wrong

Yup, you might be.
Not everyone who holds a pilot certificate is employed as a pilot. Some of these people who are not employed as a pilot, but who hold pilot certificates, ARE employed in other capacities by companies that also employ pilots as pilots.
Confused yet?

IM not a UPS pilot, but i work for UPS. I was told (just checking) that if you hold a comm Lic, then you can get trip, flights to your destination, if they are available. i have asked my management and called HR, it seems that the aviation part is a phantom area for them. so, i came here to ask the real UPS pilots.

Why is this even a question?
No UPS Aircraft have a hardened cockpit door therefore unless you are in the CASS system, are a company mechanic/dispatcher or are with the FAA you should't be allowed in the Jumpseat of a UPS aircraft.
You wouldn't be allowed on anyone else's Jumpseat, right?
Oh wait this is UPS. One level of safety my A$$
This unlicensed, undocumented, unscreened Priority 6 BS has to stop!
