Default FDX - Removed from trip 1 in 7?

My NOV award created a 9 day straight work week due to carryover, which created a 1 in 7 violation. I was removed from a weekend layover to fix.

My questions are
1) They took away a high paying weekend layover, now where does that money go?
2) Weren't they supposed to ask me which trip to remove?
3) Will I be paid that trip? Or do I get makeup of some kind (nothing in PMU bank)?

Thanks.

Pull up your November calendar in VIPS and then select Pay Summary. That will show you the trips you are being paid for and the associated code.
My entire month is knocked out for vacation so my calendar is blank, but all the trips I was awarded show up on the pay summary with an assignment code of TRP and a cancel code of VAC.

1. They take away the trip that violated 1 in 7 and carryover also takes precedence. 25.F.3
2. no, regulated per 25.F.5
3. same as answer 2, CIA or will revert into your general make up bank if not used in view/add window.

CIA or M/U bank (not paid)

No

No. Put in for a choice CIA trip. If not, goes to M/U bank.

Can I pick up for more than the greater than 6 hrs allotment if I have the bank? IE - Week long trip for 38 hours?

If you are asking about view /add, the answer is you can only go +6 over your CIC hours. When you enter the view/add window it will automatically show you the "max" hours you are eligible to bid which will be the hours dropped +6, you then submit the max amount you actually want awarded and bid away.

The other reply is about OTP not CIC.

Shouldn't your weekend layover have counted (if 24hr or longer) as the 1in7 (in the field)?

Normally yes, but I was due for one in seven Saturday, hence trip removal. (I start my workweek Sunday front DH).
