word is they will start draining the swamp......er pool, in March 2011. This will happen after about 50 pro instructors/Corp guys get thru B.I. and into the system. Sounds like there are about 50 poolies out there treading water. Unknown how many will take the offer. It's been a long time for Cloud Sailor and the rest. Good luck to all.

With the rumors in mind, I've planned on using all my vacation early in 2011... If the rumors don't pan out, no worries anyway, I'll be enjoying a nice 5 weeks off to begin the New Year.

Interesting... when I dropped off a passport last week, "they" have recently moved the VISA ladies out of their prior digs and into a smaller office. Given reason at the time? "The recruitment/hiring folks need a bigger area for next year." Given your comment, that may be OBE now...who knows? But hang in there folks, while the wait is long, it is sooo... worth it.:)

While at the Gucci Bldg a few months ago I talked with someone from Records who confirmed the same office rearrangements to accommodate the interview process.

...but she did say the new room layout was to have ALL of the hiring process in the same room or set of rooms. Computer testing, interviews ... etc...YMMV

So, yes, they are gearing up and getting ready. They thought they would know by now the details, timing and actually interviewing ... they just don't know right now

Nobody knows until actual volume numbers come out for Jan. and Feb.

I dont know who should be more hopeful: FDX poolies or UPS furloughees.
