Ups 727
To what cities does UPS's 727 fly?
|
Here are some. YMX CID IAH DFW RSW HSV YHM LAN ROA PIA
|
We also fly a lot as a hot spare, which means we go everywhere within 2 hours of SDF. The actual flying lines go senior and there are not that many of them. Most of us sit reserve or on callout.

Thanks.
I tried to submit just 'Thanks" but it said my message was too short and it must be at least 10 characters. It would not accept just that one word of 6 letters and one period so all this is filler! |
YMX, that must be the canadian maintenance city!
I'm so funny. |
also speaking of filler material, did you know...
Registered users are now required to have 25 public posts before the site Private Message feature is available. The system looks at the number of posts (25), and the aggregate word count of all posts. If a user makes 25 very short posts, the system may raise the threshold for that user to a higher number than 25 posts. |

What are the fuel flows like on those RR engines at altitude. Our JT8's get 3000-3400 lb/hr up at altitude. Also, do those RR's help the climb performance any, or do you still regularly see 500 fpm climbs up at higher altitudes?
