I am deadheading into MAD later and have never had to take GT from airport to the hotel. Anyone done that and have some info? Gracias

Have always taken a taxi but don't remember exactly how much it was. I do remember that I've had to pay with cash sometimes and was able to pay with the card on others. At any rate, it wasn't very expensive - in the 30 euro range.

This is from the hotel layover directory under general info:

Inbound Crew: Transport to customs clearance area and exit to Terminal 1 through Crew Exit. Pickup is outside terminal area between Terminals 1 & 2.

Doesn't sound like much help. If you could update the company info after your trip, it would be nice.

It may not be your cup of tea, but the Madrid subway does run all the way to the airport. Nice and fairly clean as subways go.
