Do you think schedules are going to improve with this new contract? You really didn´t read article 13
You're right Zoro, I didn't read article 13. In fact, I didn't read any of the TA nor did I attend the road shows either. I went to the bar-and-grill for all of my information, went to ipaontop.org, and then when it was all said and done I flipped a coin.

Default I give up

Unfortunately, the internet has made anyone with a keyboard think they have editorial privileges because they can post what ever they want when ever they want thanks to great websites like this one. Enjoy your new contract, I’m looking for greener pastures and for people who don’t cave in with the first offer they are presented with.

Let’s talk in a year or two and let’s see where we are as a pilot group and what the company has done to us on every chapter of this new TA, especially chapter 13 which is BTW since you seem to be spoon fed, the scheduling article

Hey buddy.....if you want to say I am weak then fine. Did I ever say all I thought about was the bonus? I did read the entire contract and from my experience, it just wasn't the doom and gloom you speak of in my eyes. I did go to ipaontop.org and I really didn't care to listen to someone who says "I am not trying to sway you, I just want you to educate yourself" and then all he says is negative stuff about the TA. The reason I was looking for answers from someone such as yourself is because since I have not been here a long time I was hoping you all could shed some light on the things that make the TA "suck". You ignored me the entire time and even now, I still have no answers to my questions. Unfortunately, all I got was "it sucks" from the NO crowd and "you just wait and see" but no specifics. IMO, that's not enough for me to just go vote NO because people are b!tching that something "sucks" but don't give specifics. I really had a hard time with this and I hope I made the right decision. If you think all I thought about was the bonus then YOU ARE DEAD WRONG! All I do know is that I tried to get you to answer some questions and all you came across to me like is that you are part of the problem not the solution so go complain to someone else, thank you.

Actually, yes because I was leaning towards yes and since all the NO voters were freaking out about scheduling I wanted some insight. Unfortunately I got no solid examples and therefore no good reason to vote no so I voted yes. So now I suppose since I am weak and not free thinking, you will think I am an idiot too. Oh well

I don't think I called you an idiot, did I? This medium is bade enough, lets not inflame emotions that aren't there.

We no voters were freaking out about many, many things. I know you haven't been here that long in the big scheme of things, but many of us have seen a great deal over the years to scare us about these people. It isn't like we are dealing with someone whose "sole discretion" can be relied on to get you a fair deal. Let's hope that you too aren't freaking out too much over the next 5 years and we are all proven wrong.

Oh, I don't doubt UPS is the way you all say. In fact, I think most big businesses (non-aviation too) are this way unfortunately. If you want kumbaya, the only place to go is SWA. Hopefully, for their employee's sake, they will stay that way. I just really wish people would have been more specific in their reasonings for freaking out about the TA. Anyways, trust me, it's not like I was jumping up and down yesterday. I do hope I made the right decision. We will find out that's for sure.
