I felt like a beaten wife after living with that POS. Hopefully the regime change is for the better. So far so good.

On a seperate note they can keep 4A2b as long as I get my lump sum . Just kidding.
My lump last time was a Capt. Lump....this time will be an F/O Lump.

I like the shorter duration. Like bids, the MOAB doesn't work so well and can have unintended consequences.

I don't believe we have to "bat it out of the park" everytime. That leads to a lot of "Swing....and a miss", fly balls and lots of outs.

Plenty of games are run on consistent runs and doubles. Keep us batting with reasonable consistent gains.

I'll give you that V1.......I didn't mean to pile on. We still need to be unified up or down. Scott and the men haven't given me reason to flinch yet...I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Old habits are hard to break.....when I see a raised hand, its sometimes easier to expect a swat than a greeting.

Default No, it's a signing bonus

It's a signing bonus, but not a significant one from what I'm hearing. I view this as a good deal, and way better than no deal for another two years. I like the fact that it's short term and really just a gap filler until all this work rule stuff flushes out. Looking forward to reading it, but it certainly sounds good.

Thanks to the Negotiating Folks and the rest of FedEx ALPA for giving us something much quicker than we all expected! The alternative is no improvements for who knows how long. I prefer something now with more to follow in the not too distant future.

Rumor ......lump sum is Retro 3% of wages back to October when we were normally receiving our 3% yearly raise on previous contract. Current hourly rates raised 3%. Not a lot cash for the junior guy nor does it come close to what was given up in 4A2b. But better than nothing received during long drawn out contract negotiations

Well said. I am in this camp.. BUT I do want to read it and judge it on its own merits; not blindly vote for it (or be convinced to vote for it).
