Fedex How to do a recommendation

How do you sponsor someone and give a recommendation? I went to forms and then pilot credentials but the site said once inputed info was not available for edit so I didnt want to go any further without being sure. Anyone done it yet?

log on to PFC, go to Forms, it's just above the title "Printable forms" on the left side.

Can a FedEx pilot just recommend a applicant? Not "sponsor" one where you are responsible for the guy for a year but just give him a standard recommendation?

Yes you can. It's very straightforward on the website.

The deal where you mentor the guy is called " endorsement". It is all the same form but there is a box to check for your primary endorsement. Otherwise it's just a recommendation. Afaik, recommendation are unlimited, endorsements are one at a time ( and one per year??)

Or just go here:

https://www.pilotcredentials.com/index.php?a=recommend

It's the same one PFC directs you to...

Can a FedEx pilot give an endorsement from the pilotcredentials website? I don't know if it takes you to another page after initiating the recommendation. Thanks.

I wish someone would endorse, recommend or sponsor me. ;) I just want to visit the AOC.

So how about it, Busboy?

That's got to be "code" for something else. Do I have to buy you a nice dinner, first?;)

It looks like they have changed the page. It used to have a CAPTCHA (squiggly letters you have to enter to prove you aren't a bot) with some other info you had to put in (email address, name). After entering this info, it would take you to a page that looks a lot like the current "recommendation" page except it had a block to check that said "This is my primary recommendation/endorsement."

The primary rec block is now missing. Whether you go direct to the pilotcredentials site or through the "forms" sections of PFC, it appears to take you to the same page.

I don't know what is going on. Maybe the initial 30 days they planned on (then changed to 60) is up and now it is just for outside recs? I'm not sure...Maybe after you "Initiate Recommendation" on the new page it will ask you if this your primary rec.
