FDX- Reserve trip assignment
 

I am sitting A reserve. I was assigned a trip on reserve that is scheduled to return to base at 0831Z on my last day of reserve. My last A reserve period ends at 1830Z.

Even though my A reserve period ends at 1830Z, can scheduling assign a trip to me that extends past the B reserve period?

The B period ends at 0630Z. This trip extends 2:01 hours into my days off. (Or 14:01 past my A RP) What are my options?

I am currently flying this trip.I was assigned this trip during the recent weather event, so I didn't notice these details until after I blocked out on the trip.

They can give you a trip that extends past 1830Z because the reserve day doesn't end until 0630Z. The period of availablity ends at 1830Z, but the day doesn't end until 0630Z. Once they've got you out on the road, they don't have to get you back "home" until 0630Z. Peruse a few A Reserve schedules and you'll see them returning around midnight Memphis time on their last day...

BUT, they cannot give you a trip that is scheduled to terminate more than 2 hours into your day off (0830Z...with the upcoming time change)...if it operationally extends more than 2 hours into your day off, then you shall accrue "reserve overage" (See Section 4.BB.8.b) AND be able to drop a subsequent R day in the month. (Section 25.M.1)
