Update app at UPS
So I went to UPS to update my hours and came across some additional questions such as do I have an ATP, FE written, etc, etc. After answering, the website said it will retain the info I have already submitted and let me know. Now I can't find where to go to update my hours. Anyone know where to go or is my last update what they are going by?
Thanks Chrtrplt |
I posted the same question a week or so ago and got just as many helpful responses as you. I have searched the website many times w/ no luck. I even started a bogus name to see what happens if there is no "retained info", that brought me to a whole new application. So basically I'm not sure.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to know I am not the only one out there that is having this problem. Maybe someone will be kind enough to give an email or phone number to pilot recruitment so we can ask what is going on.

I am sure that they have a new application, it started on Aug. 1. To update your app. go back to the app. page, look on the left and select "my inquiries"-i think-and then type in your username/password.
Once you do that you app. should come up, just hit select and you can update your times, etc. Hope this helps. jj |
Hi Jetjockey,
I went to My Job Inquiries and it asked for my social security number. I entered it and nothing was found under that number. I can't remember if the old application even asked for it. Thanks for the response though. Chrtrplt |
Same issue. Could not find my social in the databank.

Same problem.
They ask you for your name, phone #, and e-mail address...that's it. Then you get maybe 10 radio buttons to click yes/no on that basically show that you meet the minimums to apply for the job (do you have an ATP, do you have a Radiotelephone liscence, etc). If you click "no" on any of the radio buttons you get a "thanks for playing but you dont' meet our mins" message. If you click "yes" on all the buttons you get this: "Our system has retained the information you previously supplied. Your information, along with the information supplied by other job applicants, will be considered when UPS jobs become available. Thank you for continuing to consider UPS as an employer." If you go to job inquiries, they ask for your ssn (which wasn't asked for in the application section) so not suprisingly, they have no record of you. Basically I figured that they put you in a line and you'd get either an e-mail or phone call telling you to go back and fill out a "real" application. Does this sound right? or is their system on the fritz? |
Have you guys/gals already filled out the new app, or are you trying to use your old one?
When the new process started, I had to complete the whole thing, but I have been able to return to "my inquiries" and update my times???????? Good luck. |
I did not have an app in before 1 August and have tried to initiate a new one since then and always run into the same issues described above. So as far as I know, I have NO app in with UPS.
I was thinking that maybe they just take some cursory information and then send you an "invite" to fill out a full app? |
I have finally broken the code on the UPS app website. It has to do with your e-mail address. If you get the same results that were described above, back out of the page completely (I would recommend actually closing your browser) and start the process over WITH A DIFFERENT E-MAIL ADDRESS. This didn't work all the time and I actually had to use every e-mail address I have until it finally forwarded me to the app.
