MD-10-10 sim to be installed
Frankfurt is potential off-site sim location
A-380 probably delayed until mid to late 2009 (opinion)
8 additional bays approved at MD-11 sim site
All off-site training eliminated within 24 months (maybe)

Hiring 30/month until the end of time for retirements and growth
Purple nuggets doing exceptionally well in MD-11 program
AQP begins for everyone on MD-11 in OCT training cycle for recurrent

European domicile is delayed indefinitely (reasons TBA)

Training Review Board is well-received by ALPA and Company

SFS MD-11 tailstrike (F/O flying)
Preliminary info after crew debrief:
1. Not training related
2. Not procedural related (standards)
3. CRM related -- not good
4. Classified as Accident due to damage costs (significant)

LIDO turned on 9/28 (if final kinks corrected)
Jepps are history
EFB install proceeding with MD-11 during C-checks
PDD - Pilot Data Device implemented in 2007
