No more Memphis class dates in 2011????
Just heard from a buddy that the latest rumor is no more Memphis based new hire classes for the rest of 2011. Can anyone in the know at Module D confirm if there is any truth to this. Interviewed in May and was told to expect a August/September class date for Memphis. I know things change often, but seems to me with that latest bid you would need 727 SO's and a few FO's with Nov. and Dec. right around the corner. Any reliable info would be much appreciated.

Heard last week that guys are being offered HKG or CGN now, or told to expect a call in October for Memphis. This was from jumpseater who was going through MD school and had a friend get hired.
I have a friend that was hired middle of last month and hasn't heard a thing regarding a class.
Still heard we were supposed to hire 250 a year, but who knows what the plan is now that the economy seems to be crapping out.

Head of 757 training told us on Monday:
8 CGN bound new hires in "next" (aug 8th? Sept Xth?) class
4 CGN bound new hires in the next class after that
He was not asked about HKG new hire info.
Nor was he asked about 2011 hiring numbers company wide

I know a guys that showed up today for HKG. And 2 tomorrow for MD in ANC. Don't know anybody in the class that was supposedly starting next Monday. But I'd imagine it's not all CGN folks, but what do I know? Nothin'!

72 training letter still has 2 F/Os starting training end of the month. Maybe that is the delta.

To clarify: He was offered CGN and told that Mem would not be an option til likely beginning of next year and the few Mem slots were filled. Clear as mud? I don't think he knew there were any Mem in his class on Monday.
