FX EWR jumpseat question

FX guys and gals,

I'm trying to JS on you guys out of EWR tonight. I saw an old post on here saying that jumpseaters could catch an employee bus ran from outside baggage claim in Terminal A over to your building and was wondering if this was still true (post was from '09)?

If you're out of EWR tonight, would thank ya for the ride.

Yes, that info is still valid. Call the jumpseat phone number for specific instructions.

Thanks FastLane, appreciate the info.

See you guys this evening.

I might be responding too late... but the bus isn't directly outside of baggage claim.

Come out of baggage claim and hang a left. Walk past the end of the terminal building and across the road. You'll see a line of various busses... Employee Busses, Port Authority, etc. At the very end is where the FedEx 'A' bus parks.

Hope you made it...

Everything went great, appreciate the ride.

Took me a bit to find that bus, but after that the whole thing was smooth, got me home without wasting half of today commuting.

Plus, I got to ride on a 727, how cool is that?

The JS hotline should just tell people listing for 727 flights to bring earplugs :p

Been a while since I've been on a FedEx JS.

Is the process still list no earlier than 24 hours and no later than 1 hour?

Thanks.

Tipsy

Only FedEx Jumpseat Administration has the authority to book an offline crewmember on a jumpseat. A reservation may be made 24 hours in advance of scheduled flight departure time. A reservation is required no later than 1 hour prior to scheduled flight departure time.
