we do LAX-HNL five times a week... but that does you no good unless you can get to LAX

At UPS we have a 767 that leaves ONT airport for HNL at 0515Z/9:15 p.m. local on sunday evenings.

FWIW we have multiple flights weekdays - 747's, MD11's, 767's that go to HNL (and also one ONT-KOA-HNL flt on weekdays).

Usually very easy to book a jseat on. Return flight options from HNL are ONT, SAN, and sometimes LAX or LGB. Happy to have you or anyone else needing a ride. Let me know if you want any more info or the jumpseat desk number.

Youre a UPS F/O whos not furloughed, why don't you just buy a ticket if you are going for vacation. If thats too expensive book a J/S through ONT?

Xtwin, I am commuting part time for the next few months so I see that getting spendy. Over this Thanksgiving weekend both UPS and FedEx had limited service to ONT or OAK/LAX from ANC. I ended up getting on a direct flight on AS a day earlier than I planned. They were very good to me. On the way back I will most likely ride through ONT since AS generally gets weight restricted going northbound on their 737.

Thanks Lindy, our big appt is on the 1st...
