Grammar is a fundamental skill for posting on this Forum, it gives you a little more credibility. If you can't spell or construct a sentence properly, most of us will just assume you're an idiot... or dyslexic (but that's unlikely, given this is a forum for pilots who "must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.")

What's the latest with MAC? According to their page they're hiring FOs into the DLH, BUF, and Denver, NC bases. Is that pretty accurate? Also, I was curious what type of schedule would that be? Mon-Fri type of deal? Do you fly all night? Or is it the type where you fly your freight in to be picked up by FedEx, spend the night, and fly the cargo they bring in the next morning? Thanks!

Is there a different company similar to MAC in the Pacific NW other than Ameriflight? Thanks

Sorry to dig up a somewhat older thread, but does anybody have any news on hiring at Mountain Air? I've applied and been updating my resume, but still haven't heard anything from them. I was just curious to see if maybe somebody else had.

I've heard that they've hired recently, but from what I've seen, these hiring windows open and close quickly because it's usually to fill individual gaps. A bunch of guys I used to fly with are flying for them now. I'm thinking that if you have prior freight dog experience, that might help a little.

Mem Floater = you will cover other station run. ( 1 week you could be in Mem, the next in IND, etc...the only advantage of that is you do different runs and you get a little bit more money with travel pay & per diem )
The average yearly flight time is around 250 /300 hrs, it can go as low as 150 hr up to 450 hrs ( in mem ),
The only crew who log over 500hrs/ year are in Mia & Puerto rico
The pay scale on this website is fairly accurate, you will make peanuts as a FO ( but will not work that hard either )
