Question PW Chief Pilot @ Kalitta

Does PW have any hot button issues, biases, interests for interview questions.

It was the best interview I've ever been to. You will feel relaxed and they really are excited that you are there. no BS!

I agree....probably the most relaxed I have ever felt in an interview... that said PW did not sit in on our interviews that day, it was the then ACP and the ADO. Either way, I would agree that the focus for the first 10 minutes was on you understanding what the schedules are like and what to some extent the pilot group is like.

No whiners, no bs, you will gone about 17 days a month every month. It does not get shorter with seniority like pax carriers. Be flexible, that's the nature of the beast. If you can live with all that, then its ok.

Do any Kalitta pilots live in or visit Seattle often. I would like to meet to say hello in an effort to get an internal recommendation if possible. I will return the favor with a flight in an amphibious DeHavilland Beaver.

Thanks
