Funny. I heard CC recently spoke of transition training for the -400. Lost a frame, furloughs, downgrades, and the rumor mill says hiring and transition training. Just goes to show how often the rumor mill cranks out anything worth believing.

Boeing, I believe. From the day I met him, I knew he was on his way out - too sympathetic to the line pilots. We're looking for the 'just send the FE down to close the door in flight like we did on the E-4' mentality.

Where'd you go, if not UCAL? PM if you wish.

DC went to Boeing, just checked out in the 777. He was a pleasure to work for.

Also only 3 got hired @ Atlas JM, DH and on other guy that never got to the line.

When i interviewed ther where 12 of us that interviewed in 2 days and they passed on all of us, go figure i guess we all sucked that bad.

then they actually called some of us latter and asked " did we turn u down or pool you? Oh we sent a rejection letter, sorry our bad thanks for your time."

Should have said I'm in the pool. They probably would have never figured it out.

You are talking about CF, but he quit right after the sim check and never got his hands on the Dreamlifter. So it was only two, JM and DH, of the Dreamlifter pilots who went on to Atlas.

Think they will be looking for any in the near future? Perhaps at the beginning of the FY?

Unless we start getting more B747-200's, I'm gussing no. The "plan", told to me almost a decade ago, is to be an all -400 fleet.

I think we have a better chance of being an all Space Shuttle fleet.
