Default Houston Express Atlas) to Luanda

I'm trying to get to South Africa over Christmas and loads everywhere are horrible. I was wondering if jumpseaters are allowed on the Houston Express service to Luanda?

Along the same lines, does Polar or Atlas fly into JNB (Johannesburg)?

Thanks

Atlas does operate to JNB via Dubai...but that service is not something I would recommend as it does get scheduled and cancelled by our customer on a regular basis...for that matter, it is not even a regular service!!

As for the Houston to Luanda...I don't know if our flights can accept jumpseaters on that service. Someone else may chime in and help you out.

When we flew it, Sonair didn't even want our own people on the airplane, let alone a jumpseater. They are a pain in the ass.

Angola is a corrupt, bureaucratic nightmare. It is not the kind of place I'd be jumpseating thru to try to save a few bucks. Even the flights from Luanda to JNB are limited (Angola only allows SAA a certain amount of frequencies) so you could easily be stuck in a craphole terminal for an undetermined amount of time, and getting into town for accomodations is challenging, at best. And I hope you have the right visa.

I know World Airways does some charter flights for European operators and they are in JNB regularly.

And don't forget the right Vaccinations...I flew (deadheaded) on SAA from NBO to JNB a few months ago and one member of our crew did not have his "shot record" with him...the airline refused boarding and he had to get a new Yellow Fever shot and therefore new shot record before he could board...

He barely made the flight...sorta like OJ Simpson running through the airport.

Later found out that South Africa requires a current Yellow Fever vaccine if you are traveling from within Africa into South Africa...

Lots of issues to consider...jumpseating is likely NOT a good idea in this case. But, good luck anyway.
