I can't remember ever getting a "free" meal for Thanksgiving. Christmas yes, Thanksgiving no.

Hyatt in Indy used to put on a pretty good spread for those of us stuck for Turkey Day, not sure if they still do or not.

Individual ramps or hotels were not the issue of the original thread question. The original thread was the company allowing an expense of meals on Thanksgiving.

With apologies to a unnamed Italian immigrant worker from nearly 100 years ago ...
"There's a no such-a thing as a free-a <Thanksgiving dinner>" ...

but I'm thankful I can afford one and that me and mine are still around to eat it, even though I'm about 7000 nm away from them.

And I hope that this is true for all of you and yours (or is that "you're's" ).
