International Jumpseatingd
Does anyone have any news on if there have been any policy changes to internationally jumpseating on ups/fdx with the TSA's lifting of the restriction placed after 9/11?
I jumped UPS to SDF the other day (thanks guys!) and they had also read the article of the TSA's lifting of the ban however they had no idea what the company's standing policy no the issue is. With nice seats in the back this would make it much easier to get to a few places. Thanks Duck |

No change to FDX... but the usual suspects are still allowing Intl JS.. Polar/Atlas/Connie and they are good airlines to get to Asia/Europe then buy a cheap ticket once you get there to your final local.

Thanks. I'm hoping to see a change with this. Currently I have bennies on CAL/DAL but AMR won't let us even sit in the back. I'd like to see unions make a push to allow this again. Not so that someone can sit in the cockpit for several hours, but because you still need to list for JS to sit in the back and some places.
Also, the ALPA reps out a blastmail regarding some of the IT/logistical issues/ Not so much leaving the U.S., but coming back. |
