FedEx - Limo options for AFW
Anybody know if the contract ground transport folks at AFW provide limo rides to the Houston area? Or any other contacts there who might?
Looking to deviate and use bank money to get there, as the flying times don't work out so well.
Thanks for any info.

That's over 4 hours of driving . Don't know about the contract guys, but AirCarNow charges ~$70/hour. It's a pretty safe bet that you're going to need special approval because "Deviation ground transportation for amounts greater than $200 must be approved by a pilot's RCP."
And don't ask me who that is nowdays, with all the changes in the front office .
P.S. ACP approval will not be required for qualifying ground transportation up to $100 per occurrence. Deviation ground transportation greater than $100 up to $200 must have specific ACP approval.

Have you looked at LUV-HOU rather than DFW-IAH? Probably cheaper to GT to Dallas LUV and take SW... I'm wild-assed guessing that GT to Houston will run in the neighborhood of $600. How much bank money are you trying to burn?

Another question for the more experienced commuters if you please,
Am I correct in assuming that if I deviate on the back end of a trip and create a duty period of over 11:30 that I can expense a first class ticket? Total block is over 5 also.
The duty period would be a revenue flight, 5 hour turn, and then deadhead to the destination.
Total block would be about 5.6 hours (both the revenue and deadhead) and 13:20 on duty.
Trip manager booked the second leg of the deadhead in first class, not sure why, but I think it would be allowable under this scenario and I should have the bank to cover the additional cost.
Thanks for any help.
