FDX-Jumpseat Reservations Dropping
Folks,
Jumpseat's computer system is dropping reservations without any notice. I've had two reservations dropped twice. I've asked them about and they say IT is working it. FYI. :mad: |
I've had 6 j/s reservations drop out of the system during the last 6 weeks. Interestingly, it appears that when they drop out there is no record of you ever having had a reservation (there is no j/s jumpseat reservation cancellation in the system).
I only noticed them dropping out because they no longer show up on my VIPS calendar. I've printed my calendar on consecutive days, the first day it's there ... the next day it's gone. Like you said, they seem to be aware of a problem and they say "they" are working on the problem. I contacted management about it, they said they would look into it. No reply since? I wonder if anybody missed a trip when they showed up for their j/s to work only to find out they had no reservation? I wonder if "no harm, no foul" would protect you if "you didn't have" a reservation? :D |
Might be worth printing the reservation confirmation page for a while on the js website to CYA.

I had the same thing on 2 flights and noticed that it happened the same day I had a backend deadhead that I had not deviated from yet....hmmm???
