Default FDX - Getting to Lower Manhattan

Going to be going to NYC later this month, what is the best way to get from either the JFK or EWR FDX ramp to lower manhattan?

Will prob be staying at the Westin just south of central park.

3 options
1. Take cargo bus to federal circle. Airtrain to Jamaica station. Take either the subway, E train or LIRR.
Airtrain is $5
Subway $2
LIRR $6 or $7

2. Take cargo bus to Federal Circle. Airtrain to any terminal ( I think, but terminal 1 works). NYAS ( blue bus) to downtown manhattan. The guys are outside the arrival area selling tickets ( guys in blue jackets)
$13 or $10 with crew ID

3. Taxi (expensive comparatively)

If you have an iPhone you can download a free subway map.

In Midtown right now.

If EWR (I find it easier).....

Take Employee Shuttle to Terminal Area
(right outside security)
Walk over to Terminal A
Take Coach USA Bus to Port Authority

Google Coach USA for pricing. About $15 each way, cheaper if round trip purchased.

Great Service.

Might also be able to catch a ride on one of the trucks out of the ramp.

Or maybe ask to ride with the crew if they're going to Manhattan.

Default Screw the bus, take the train

If at EWR, take the airtrain from P4 to the EWR rail link station, then jump on jersey transit to NY Penn Station and jump on the A-C-E line downtown

This is by far the best option.

Except Central Park is uptown on the subway. I've done both options from EWR and they're both easy. Definitely go to EWR.
